Took a few videos but only one manage to come out ok. This video was requested by one of my friends and regular Army readers Gordon. Hopefully this meets what he was looking for. Basically it’s just a demonstration of how to drop to the ground during IMT. Yes the military has a text book procedure on what to do, but ultimately it comes down to what’s comfortable and works best for the individual soldier.

Took two videos from drill this past weekend.  First one gives a view of what its like to sit in the driver’s seat of a stryker.  Its very similar to driving a car except you have thirty million buttons on the panel.  The second video is a quick shot of us parked at the Lowes during a convoy operation.  You can read all about this drills events here.  All my military YouTube videos can be found here.

LT Shutlze gave me his video footage from an August drill at the GAP, a National Guard base in Pennsylvania. That drill was fairly exciting as it was the first time our company got to fire live TOW missiles down range. Unfortunately they took out the explosive warheads so there wasn’t much of a boom on impact. The boom from firing was pretty intense though. Here are the videos. Also included is a video of us firing the M240B from on top a Stryker. The videos were shrunk to fit nicely into my blog.
