Taken from on top of the ziggurat. Turned out to be a really good photo.

Remember these cute boys? They were in this video and this one too.

Thats the Ali Baba kid on the left. On the right is the cute little girl in those crazy glasses with her brother. They were in this video.

Wait a sec....something....doesnt....seem right. That red head doesnt look like an Iraqi.

I’m Back And In A Magazine

After a long month hiatus, I figure its time to finish up this blog. I’ve spent the last month chilling out and visiting family. It feels great to be back in the states and settled back into a less stressful life. Believe or not, but its been a warm welcome to not have to deal with this blogging for a bit. Think I needed a break from writing. But alas, I have returned and will spend the next two weeks or so to post up the remainder of my videos and pictures.

First up on the list, MY BLOG MADE IT IN A MAGAZINE!!!! Go figure. I was contacted a few months back by University Link Magazine. Its an edgy, socially conscious campus magazine written exclusively for college students by college students. They were doing a small piece on military blogs and decided to include me. Its a two page article that briefly lists different blogs along with a bunch of pictures. And guess whose pics dominated the article? Haha. I feel very honored. The following soldiers are pictured in the magazine: Sgt Woodward, Spc Brewster, Spc Gumby, Spc Kovaleski, Sgt Conner, Spc Jimenez, and Sgt Beard.

Right now the magazine is subscription only and you can’t pick it up at any newsstands. Wanna get your own copy? You can purchase an individual issue via calling (877)-ULINK-01. Hit option 0 off the main menu and ask for the October issue.
